Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM):
VILDAMET is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise in patients whose glycemic control is inadequate with metformin hydrochloride or vildagliptin monotherapy, or in patients already treated with a free combination of metformin hydrochloride and vildagliptin.
VILDAMET is indicated in combination with a sulfonylurea (i.e., as triple therapy) as an adjunct to diet and exercise in patients insufficiently controlled with metformin and a sulfonylurea.
VILDAMET is indicated in combination with insulin to improve glycemic control in patients who are inadequately controlled with diet, exercise, and a stable dose of insulin plus metformin.
