Prevention of cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) and systemic embolisms in adult patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation and presenting one or more risk factors (s), such as congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, age> = 75 years, diabetes, history of stroke or transient ischemic attack. Treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), and prevention of recurrence in the form of DVT and PE in adults.
